My son has sensitive skin. Whenever I give him a bath, eczema flares up all over his poor body.
I've tried limiting his bath time, smoothing various lotions/oils/creams all over him and every hypoallergenic and eczema friendly shampoo/body wash that I can get my hands on. It normally ends up something like this:
The only thing that I have found that helps is limiting his actual baths. Once every three days seems to do the trick, or maybe a bit longer.
Food normally wins the battle.
(Don't worry, we eat every night. Most times a full three meals day! Okay, baby eats more then that and I might eat less then that, but together we might average three meals!)
Inevitably, since my son dislikes baths, after bath time is finally over, it normally goes something like this.
